7 th week
Hi Amanda,
I was like you at 4 wks post op. I upped my water big time and protein and the weight started coming off. Also you could be losing inches as well. I hope you had a chance to do your before measurements. When the scale didn't move I noticed that the inches were melting off.
Good luck to you and remember always keep hyrdrated.

I was exhausted and always needed a nap. Once I started my vitamins and getting in my required fluids and protein I started feeling better.
Its never too late to start. Do your measurements today (or when you have time) and I measure myself at least once a month or every other month. I had surgery 4 months ago and lost 57lbs and tons of inches. I went from size 18 to 10/12 pants 1x tops to m/l tops.

I honestly don't know how long they've lasted. I know it's got to feel like forever, especially this early out.
You probably are dehydrated, most of us are/were at this stage. Others have been able to maintain their fluids early out, but my opinion is they are few and far between. As I'm sure you've been told, fluids are critical the first few months. It's very easy to get behind. One tip that helped me was to fill up a container with the minimum amount of fluid for the day. When it was gone I knew I was golden and everything else was a bonus. It doesn't have to be all water either. If you're having broth, dip out the amount you took in. If it's a popsicle or jello, take that out too.
Don't weigh yourself every day. Once or twice a week at the most, at the MOST. The plateau will break. Really.
