Something Isn't Right With My DS

I am new to this site as well.  I have had a similar reaction on the pro board site.    Don't let a few bad apples spoil your experience on OH.  Take in what helps and dismiss the rest.  I pray they mean to help however have not been trained.  Just because some one is a vet does not mean they are the best teacher.  They may possess the knowledge however do not have the tools to pass it on.  Besides myself  you are my second person I have found on this site which has not been pleased with some of the individuals responses.  The other person deactivated them selves.  Please do not avoid this site as it will be helpful I am sure over time.  I hope knowing there are others out here which do not agree with the negative tough love spiel makes you feel not alone.  I hope as in my instances you will receive multiple personal messages making you aware there are those out there who want to help and not simply make disparaging remarks.  I had more problems with the other site I hope this site continues to be helpful for me as it has been in the past and for you as well.

Do you have your surgical reports?

Not telling us the name of the surgeon sounds troll-like, sorry.  Many of us have been burned before.  If you can give us more info, we're more likely to help.  It's not about surgeon bashing - some of the best surgeons have had patients with complications - this is major surgery.  Hiding who it is makes us wonder.  If the situation were reversed, you'd likely feel the same way.

Getting your panties in a wad will help no one, and you do sound like you need help.

What I have found is that when people get defensive when asked more questions, there is something else going on.
