How do I go out of network/medical group?

Just a quick update. I called my medical group this time instead of the insurance itself and seemed to get ahold of a person faster! lol She advised me that my dr can actually refer me to someone else! Can you believe it? lol Still, it is just what one person says but I am hopeful (and excited!). She gave me instructions and I just faxed those instructions to my pcp. So here's hoping!
