Can any one share a particular pre or post op intake which worked well for them besides what is listed on dsfacts.com?  Thanks Donna

This is helpful however I was looking for personal responses as to what worked best for particular persona.   I had the pleasure of sharing info with another gal who had hers with dr U which will be my surgeon and she had stated the first few days broth and jello was wonderful.   Thank you as I find your information very helpful and welcomed.  Sincerely Donna

Since I had a near complete gastrectomy due to post op complications, I'm probably not the best person to answer this for you. I guess the only real major change for me is that I eat way more protein and keep my carbs around 75 or less a day. I do try to keep white flour out of my diet because of gas and flatulence. That's been my biggest change.

Take a look at the Bites, Vites and Exercites thread both here and over at the other board to get an idea what people eat in all different phases of their journey. The reality is, no one can predict how your body will tolerate different foods after surgery. We're all different.
