Thank you, Ruby!!!!! When I read Lulu's Angel update post for me, and saw your post, I cried!!!! You keep up with that special touch, because it has truely happened with me...... all that struggling was so friggin emotional, and there you were with your inspiration, that helped me not give up, but to "Keep my eye on the prize"!!!!!!!!!

Wow I have to give you credit. I am what I am told a light weight so I will be paying. I did my self pay lap band in March of 09 and I am exhausted over the fact it failed and I have been on the Merry Go Round of wt loss once again. I can not imagine waiting that long I would have given up and paid for it. I am so proud of you and wish you the best of luck. I am planning my surgery in Mexico from Dr U...............

I am truly happy for you. When we struggle with a long term illness of obesity and the other diagnosis that go along with it, it can be frustrating when others do not understand the DS can be the cure. I put 3K down today and I am deciding between 2 surgical dates. Perhaps if you feel comfortable we could keep in touch and help one another. I am looking at either Feb 14 or Feb 21!.
