Wow thank you so much Kayla. I am so freakin busy with college that I did not even think of that. I have Atena Open Access.
I do not need a referral lol. Now to find a hemo doc that will listen.

Find one that deals with RnY'ers. They are used to giving them infusions, and don't really differentiate the DS. That was the one time that I was more than happy to let the DOC confuse me with RnY patients.
I did tell him I had a DS. I just didn't put in any effort in correcting him on his assumptions of my surgery as it related to RnY whom he was used to treating.

I need to lose about 2 more pounds for a normal BMI . I still seem to be slowly losing at over 2 yrs out...so may get there yet.
I have to laugh at some of these doctors because they wont even take a moment and look it up on there hand held IPhone LMAO. I get tired of explaining it to a so called professional.

Go to a different doctor. I had one tell me no, another that did agree (after making me feel like a hypochondriac) but only to one small dose every 3 or more months or so and then finally I found one that listened to me and gave me Dextran in one big, long dose and got it over with. You may have to shop for the right hemotologist. Mine helped with fatigue and also orthostatic hypotension.

I thought I would never say this LOL, but I am living such a full life I dont have time for them to play with my health.
I need research to prove this is what I need so I will be doing my homework and I am going to make a presentation to take to my new PCP. I just switched PCP's because she got pissed over Dr. Greenbaum ordering all my labs.
