Lisey Update
Thanks, Jenny. I thought about that - if it should be cancer & nowhere else, then why not just remove that. It's gotta be an easy surgery, you can see it through my mouth. Standard treatment is to go to a bone marrow transplant if you don't respond to treatment or relapse at any point in the future, so I'm not sure what would happen. Most of the time, I honestly try not to think about it b/c otherwise you (well, I) would spend the whole day freaking out/ being upset, and while I do have my "moments" of that, I try not to let that be too much of a part of my life.

Lisey, yes, it's gotta be and easy surgery. We were just talking about it here recently. I'm older than you and my hubby is older than me. I still have my tonsils; he doesn't. Back when he was a kid, basically if you went in to the doctor twice with a sore throat, they took out your tonsils and sent you home with some popsicles. It was that common.
