I'm such a dork - I posted on Tuesday's B&V.

Ugh.  I don't even want to think about my carb intake the last few days.
I've got a bladder infection, so I'm drinking tons of Cranberry juice.  Normally I get the diet kind or the Trader Joe's brand (100% cranberry juice!) but my friend picked me some up while I was home sick the last 2 days and it is the full carb kind.
I'm going to get more of the TJ kind tonight and just dilute it with water instead of diet ginger ale.

BITES:
B- Bagel thin with cream cheese, 2 cups cranberry juice ****tail (12)
L- Progresso Clam Chowder soup, cranberry juice (7)
S - half an Adkin's granola bar, double protein shake (68)
D??  planned -  In & Out burger. (33) while picking up new RX

Don't even want to think about the total carbs!  Protein at least 120 grams.
Fluids:  pushing them hard
Exercites:  none - still feel ill.

Ugh...you're not any meds for the infection? It may be to late for the cranberry juice, or at least that's what I've heard. I have heard cranberry juice or the concentrated capsules at the first indication works well though. I hope you feel better soon.

Gina -
I am now on meds - Keflex.  The cranberry juice alone didn't do the trick this time and it started before Christmas, so I was a wee bit uncomfortable over the holiday.  The drugs should be kicking in soon.
This may be a dumb question, but I've already gotten some of the ill effects from the combo of the antibiotic and too many carbs.   (Antibiotics always give me the runs.)
I've stopped taking my probiotic, figuring that the Keflex would just kill them off anyways.  Is this correct?  Or should I keep taking my Primal Defense throughout the treatment?

I take Primal Defense after I finish antibiotics. If you're getting diarreah with the antibiotics maybe the dose is too high for you.

getting on track with my protein shake:D
i wish i didn't eat the pizzas - they were very yummy! was at my aunts house - could not resist - i even brough my own packed lunch - but was too tempted!!

hey gina, just wondering if a protein shake is enough for you, for lunch?
the gluten free spaghetti - is that also low in carbs?

I use 1/2 & 1/2 for my lunchtime shake and it's probably a double scoop, so if I'm busy in the afternoon it's plenty. I will almost immediately get a snack size bag of popcorn after my shake, so it probably isn't quite doing it for me. I need to chew as well as drink.

The gluten free spaghetti is brown rice, so not so low carb. :(

S- peach carbsmart yogurt
S-more cheese n sausage
D-haven't quite been hungry...maybe eat a slice of the family's leftover pizza. I am actually craving a bowl of corn chex and milk....

Good protein in your Bites. Keep us posted on how your system handles those frozen meals.
