I so enjoyed the holidays this year.
Did a movie, a 550 piece puzzle and then off to the chinese buffet for all the meat I could eat.

just about perfect!

Sounds like you had a great day.   This is a great season to enjoy oneself.

I cooked a huge dinner for twelve. When I sat down to eat, I couldn't take a bite. I had been tasting as I worked, but everyone enjoyed sitting at the table for a long visit and I did slowly enjoy a big plate of food. It was delicious if I do say so myself. Lots of good cheer with everyone home for the holiday. We all missed my mom, who passed last year so it was bittersweet.

She was my biggest cheer leader in my DS weight loss process. she was so proud that she would tell everyone we met. I would have to try to think of a way to let her know I would rather not have everyone know. LOL. But at 93, I pretty much let her have her fun. I am happy to day that she was always proud and supportive of me no matter what, throughout my life. Wonderful mom.
The holidays will always bring happy memories for us.

That's a great idea for New Year's and next Christmas!

No cooking involved!
