I have been really missing you guys! I have missed several days of posts and will continue to do so till I get home. This is tough typing on my iPhone so will try to keep it short.

I am doing much better after my second discharge. My fever has broke, I have been passing stools and gas, tring to drink lots of water, occasional food, walking, using my breathing instrument, and trying to get solid rest. Let me tell you it is damn hard to do all this and that is no exaggeration. I couldn't handle narcotics so I went through this with Tylenol. lol Yes, just Tylenol! I might not be allergic to narcotics but they are impossible even with ani-nausea. Uggg just what I feared but honestly pain wasn't to bad. I don't know if I have I pain tolerance or if the pain wasn't as bad as I thought.... I don't know.
I am not through this yet but I wanted to let all wonderful people know how much I miss you all. Sorry for absence and I will be back on as soon as I can.

Yes, tracking everything you need to do and when to do it is exhausting for someone who just went thru surgery.  I had timers and a schedule on paper so I wouldn't forget anything.  I tracked my temperature because I ran a low grade fever for 2 weeks.  Turned out it was not indicative of anything.
I always conveniently forget that crazy period until there are some fresh post-ops talking about it.  It gets infinitely easier as the days go by.  Plus you will be dropping weight like crazy so it's all worth it.  I hope you continue to do well.

Cheers,
Cathy

Danni - I am sorry that I missed what happened and that you had to be readmitted.  I hope all is going well for you now.  Let me know if you need anything.
