I surely remember being where you are now. I didn't want to eat or drink anything and I was sure that I should be looking into suing that darn truck driver. It definitely gets better and soon you'll be posting about all of your victories!!

Thank you for your very eloquent post. Your quote, " I guess after attempting to lose weight for what seems like forever you get used to failing at weight loss." struck at my heart. I am so feeling that right now. I'm having surgery on January 9th and am feeling a whirlwind of emotions that range (and spin) from excitement to nervousness to fear that I will be the one person that this tool will not work for.

I will keep your post and motivating pictures in mind as I start the next path of my journey to be healthy, happy and "normal", however I chose to define that term along the way.. Thanks so much for sharing!!

How exciting, January 9th is right around the corner!! I remember all kinds of thoughts flooding my mind as time drew near. I had waited so long but there were still doubts. I think it's just cold feet. It will pass and before you know it you'll be well on your way to a healthier you and I'll be here cheering you on!!
