Hi Switch Sister!,

Call your local nursing homes or hospital. There are a lot of elderly people who don't have family (or who's family "forget" to visit them) during this time of year. Especially in the nursing homes.

My younger sister takes her (trained) dog to see elderly people in hospitals and nursing homes. She says their faces just light up! When I worked in the hospital, holidays were not so fun for the people who were stuck in there during that time. We did what we could but....

Anyway, try your local places and I'll bet they would be very appreciative!
When push comes to shove....shove hard!

Never regret anything, because at one time it was exactly what you wanted.

Do you have a Veterans' Hospital nearby, or can you find an address for one? I know that Dear Abby (or whoever it is that writes for her now) is always encouraging people to send cards there.

Banded 10 years & maintaining my weight loss!! Any questions, message me.
