So, it was a stricture....
Had my egd this morning, and they found a stricture. Apparently they stretched it out and things are supposed to be better, but I'm still having to fight to keep any liquids down. I've already paged the doctor... Will this ever end? Arrrrgh.

I haven't had that kind of procedure, but it would make sense to me that it might take a bit for your freshly assaulted stomach to calm down and accept stuff. Maybe tomorrow will be better. But keep talking to your docs, and go back for more fluids sooner rather than later.

Maybe when you're feeling a little better you could share some more details about the stricture. I assume it was in your stomach? A kink or a twist or perhaps a narrowing due to scar tissue? Any clue what caused it?
