Very thin, 100% Whole Wheat bread.  20 carbs in 3 SLICES.  Thats right people - THREE.  That means a sandwich (how much do we love sandwiches?) has 14 Carbs.  14.

$4ish bucks at Kroger, easy to use, can be toasted, holds all sorts of protiens.

Could not keep this one to myself.

I've used those. Now I prefer to go completely grain-free  :)  If I want meat and cheese, I can easily eat it without bread of any kind - either roll them up and dip into mayo or use a thick-sliced cheese or pepperoni as the "bread."

I've tried them and as good as they are I go almost 100% grain free also. My diet is almost all protein. I hardly ever eat any carbs. Not because I can't. I actually find that I can tolerate them in small amounts. I just have this crazy fear of not being able to stop with just a slice of bread. Plus grains don't taste as good to me as they once did. I don't normally eat lunch meat either because it's too processed for my liking. Now cheese though? I eat that like it's going to disappear. Trader Joes has an AWESOME selection of cheeses!
