Warning: Incoming AW Post--Post Yours, Too!
When I was researching wls, I LOVED before and after pictures on OH. As a post-op, I now no longer hide from the camera. I sometimes even smile.
Here are my latest AW pix, at nearly 4 years out from my DS (from the amazing Dr. Rabkin!), wearing a party dress that it has been brought to my attention is "too big" on me.
I urge all of you to AW with me. Post YOUR before and after photos in this thread, too!
Nicolle
Before: 344 pounds (55.5 BMI), type 2 diabetes and sleep apnea.
After: 154 pounds (BMI 24.9), no diabetes or sleep apnea!!! I had an abdominoplasty and a brachioplasty in 2010.

I had the kick-butt duodenal switch (DS)!
HW: 344 lbs CW: 150 lbs
Type 2 diabetes and sleep apnea GONE!
Oh, I LOVE the new pic of you and your husband and son. Such a lovely family!
Yeah, I thought I'd grow my hair out and see how it looks. I may be at the longest I am willing to go now, though. As it is, it takes 15 minutes to blow dry (it's kind of thick, which is a blessing after my post-DS baby chick fluff hair!).
Thanks, Val!

What a transformation. Unbelievable! I think it is these kinds of amazing pictures that make newbies take notice so thanks for sharing. Who could ever believe those before and after pictures are of the same person?
