Dr Arcand , worcester massachusetts, Doing DS???

 Hello all,
Anone hear of Dr. Arcand in worcester, Ma doing the DS now? I know he is a RNY and lap ban guy. But i heard he is now doing the DS, anyone have any info in this. I have a feelingits a Bait and dont switch kinda situation?  thanks

Some quick searching did not link his name with the DS, and the hospital where he operates does not list the DS on their website (in fact, they only appear to list the RNY and the vertical banded gastroplasty, not even the Lap Band).

 I feel its a little suspicious, I have a cousin up there whom I have spoke with in length with about the Ds, and he says this guy "now " does the DS, its on his literature.... however, he said that over the phone this guy said, I dont think the DS is for you with the malabsorption. My cousin is almost 400 pounds, 6"4.... come on????? sounds fishy. My opinion also is, if this surgeon was now doing the DS, you would think he would be anxious to them. tight??? especially on a big guy.  ??????? He has an apointment with him on Friday but I cannot find any info either.

Typical bait and don't switch. Tell the relative to not waste time on the appointment and to go to NY or come down here to Greenbaum.
