Definition of a Bowel Movement

Just curious friends. When counting bowel movements during this first week or so, doe we count those surprise attacks of greenish black liquid that just kind of ooze out of nowhere and take about 15 m inutes to clean up? My poor husband woke up in a puddle this morning ick!!!!!

EEEEWwwww.  I never experienced that myself. 

I can't say I ever experienced anything remotely like that...

I have never had that happen.

I am wondering if maybe you should call your Dr. and see if you can take some Immodium for a while? I dunno.

The only time I have taken Immodium was on my 19+ hour flight home from Brazil, but it worked, I did not have a BM until I arrived home.

Never had that happen. If that is the norm for you, best call your surgeon.

Ditto!  I have had the oil slicks... but never pooped in the bed... I would make a phone call ..ASAP!!

 I have never had that happen to me either.  Nor have I ever had anything that color. I'd call Dr. L.  I haven't read anything similar to that on the site either.

Oh dear, no. Never happened.

I would say that a bowel movement is any time you move something out of your bowel. But, why in the world are you counting them?
