So I stopped in and saw Casy last night.  Although she is still in pain, she is quite fesity and doing well.  She had a tray full of liquids n front of her and had downed some broth and liked it.   She even got up for a walk while i was there..

thanks ma'am!

I have had a few great visitors and it has been so nice! Dr. Buse and Tracy visited me again today, too. My right side is hating me right now but I am trying to push through it! They asked me if I wanted to leave today and I thought they were crazyyyy.

I am trying to do fluids..I just feel like it sits in my stomach/chest like a brick!

thoughts:

Isopure is literally one of the nastiest things ive ever, ever tasted in my life.

Strawberry kiwi crystal light isn't so bad. I don't mind water either. Muscle milk has a grainy texture and a mediciney aftertaste so I was not a fan.

I have pooped twice....HOORAY! Who would have thought I would be so excited for a BM.

I actually slept last night and this morning..truly the first time since i've been here. It was wonderful and my body loved every minute of it.

Casey, you are doing so well! We're glad we were able to meet you while we were there. I never would have guessed you'd had major surgery. You have such a positive attitude and a working knowledge of the DS. You are going to do extremely well! Hopefully, we'll see you again in just a few short weeks! Keep sipping and walking!

Congratulations! Have someone pick up a kids sippy cup and try drinking your liquids from it. It keeps the air out of your stomach and should help.............
