 Hi DS folks,

I wanted to update you on my situation. I will be getting the VSG, not the DS. It will likely happen Jan or Feb. I decided that I was too worried about the malabsorption given my age and some of my medical conditions (basically it looks like I have a good likelihood of natural malabsorption as I age, and I just don't want to add to it).

I plan to post regular updates to the VSG forum. Hopefully it will all go well.

Weight loss surgery is definitely not "one size fits all!"

Congratulations on making the best decision for yourself, and your situation, and good luck with your surgery and recovery.
