Hey all! Yesterday was my 6 year surgiversary! I'm holding in the low 150s, down from 289 ... would love to be back to the low 140s, but haven't seen them in a couple of years, so I'm not holding my breath. I'm 5'2, and wear a size 10. I no longer have high blood pressure. I'm not diabetic, which I would have been by now without my DS. I'm 36 years old, and my 30s have been amazingly fantastic! I've traveled so much and experienced so much and continued my education and just enjoyed the hell out of life! Thank God for Dr. Marchesini, the DS, and my OH family!

Size 10 sounds like the perfect American woman to me.  Having gained a little after your plastics, did it affect the results at all?  I've held on to your information for your PS all of these years, thinking one day time and money will come together at once for me.

 Thanks, everyone!
Hi Val! To answer your question, it sucks gaining weight after plastics. My legs are not what I'd hoped they'd be. I had gained about 10 of that before plastics, making me an 8/10, so my legs didn't get made as small as they would've been when I was a size 4/6. He removed 11 lbs of skin, but then I gained 15 a few months after surgery, so the saddle bags that I didn't think he was aggressive enough with to start with just got worse. My stomach isn't concave like it was right after surgery (I have a large rib cage) but it's still fairly flat; I get a bit of muffin top if my jeans are too tight. I hate the "skinny jean" styles now, though -- even boot cut has gotten slimmer -- because to get them big enough for my legs, they are too big for my waist. Having plastics didn't change my basic pear shape and the shopping problems that have always gone with it. However, even with the bit of gain, and my gripes, I wouldn't have changed having had plastics for the world! I would love to have a bit more on my legs and butt, but overall I'm still happy with it!

Good luck on getting yours at some point! Dr. Kuster was wonderful! If I go back, though, I've thought about going to Dr. Tolazzi in Curitiba instead (he wasn't widely serving American patients at the time of my plastics). I'd have to do some more in-depth research.

It was great to hear from you!
