Hi everyone,

Well, I made it one year today. I am pretty happy with my weight as I was a revision from a failed RNY. I can’t say I miss my RNY but I can say I love my DS. Funny thing is these stalls… not sure why they happen nor why thing all of a sudden weight just starts falling off again. I started out on this journey at 455 pounds lost down to 280 and started gaining weight back to 351. I had the ds 12/8/10 and now I weight 256 on pound away from losing 200 pounds!!!! I was shocked when I went back and looked at the numbers. At first I was said because I am still a big girl but from where I use to be I think I am doing ok and I feel for once in my life I will reach my goal of 200 pounds. It might take me another year or even longer but guess what??? Things look a lot different in the 200’s than the 400’s and for the first time in my life I can look in the mirror and kind of like what I see. I am currently wearing size 16 pants and 14/16 shirts and loving every second of the shopping experience. I have my first pair of Seven Jeans (my cousin gave them to me) and I love them but not into the skinny leg look.

I will be getting my labs done next week but if figure I am doing well since I am on vitalady’s schedule and taking hand full of vites everyday.

The scale is still moving slowly and I still watch carbs but still enjoy the foods I love. I had shrimp alfredo like 4 times this week made with dream fields noodles OMG it was sooooooo good!!!! I made sure there was lots and lots of cheese.

So over all life is good enjoying being able to walk and I got an elliptical for Christmas so the last of this weight will be coming off soon. I will be looking into some plastics once I have about 6 months of no weigh lost since I seem to go two to three months with no weight loss and then drop 6-9 pounds in two days??? Still can’t figure this out but I will keep eating my protein.

Thanks for all your help and I will be posting my labs soon.
