Hey Everyone!

My name is Jodi and I live over at the sleeve forum however, I just wanted to let everyone that knows my friend Casey (She posts to this board alot!) that she is out of surgery and the Dr. said she did fine!  Keep her in your thoughts as she starts this amazing process!

Thanks!

Jodi

Way to go, Casey!  We'll be at the hospital Thursday or Friday to peek in and say, "Hi!".  One of our Lubbock friends is there right now getting ready to have DS at noon.  Welcome to the dark side!

Thank you SO much everyone! I am doing pretty well, although getting out of bed to walk was the most painful thing ever. The doctors are also playing around with pain meds and seem to finally believe me when I say morpohine is doing nothing!

My friend got the sleeve today and her room is right next door to your's Casey...I saw you walking shortly this afternoon  and having a lively conversation with the nurse while walking down the hall.   I may peek in and say hi tommorow.  Although I hear everyone say it...it still amazes me to see you patients get up so shortly after surgery to walk, my friend was up almost immediately...even though it was painful.  A good thing for me to see with my surgery looming in a few months..I am processing everything!

Quite Frankly I found it quite amusing, because a similiar conversation  regarding pain was happening right next door.   I was going to peek in yesterday but, quite frankly, I wanted permission first, so now I have it.
