Cymbalta? Can we take it post DS?

My doctor is wanting to put me on Cymbalta for my back pain. It is time released. I told her I did not think it would work because of that.

Does anyone here take it post DS? Does it work for you? Know I could just try it, but wanted to check with my "peeps" before I wasted my time/money. Thanks in advance!

DS on 04/05/11

I took it before the DS, but after the DS I did have to double the dose and take half with my morning vits and half with my late afternoon/dinner dose and that has worked great.

Our system is not designed for time released medications--too short to absorb anything time released.
