I'm here!!! Update from a 6 day old

Haha yeah, ya know what's funny?  I didn't remember which day you were there, but I only vaguely remember you being there.  They had my pain meds messed up something fierce.  I remember your pretty black hair tho!

Dawww! Thanks! My hospital stay is a huge blur in my mind, too, those painkillers do a number on you! I couldn't even stay awake long enough to watch TV...

And on the 7th day he rested.

I'm glad you're doing well now. Take it easy and push the water as much as you can.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. Thanks for all the details in your story...it's nice to read as a pre-op.

Thanks for sharing your story. I will be having a revision of my RNY to DS on Dec. 15. I'm very new here, but not new to the WLS world :-) My original surgery was May 2002 in Chicago at Northwestern. I'm in LA now,  I've struggled all these years, was 278 when I had surgery, barely got below 200 lbs and worked soooo hard, diet/exercise, really changed my life. I'm back up to 240,  I finally decided to pursue a revision, which was approved by my insurance. You sound exactly like me with needles/IVs, I'm a hard stick too, and it's the thing I dread almost the most about surgery!
