Sick and my surgery is in 2 weeks!

Well, let me rephrase some decongestive/pain meds will make your heart race. I am already taking levothyroxine and I do get heart palpatations already. So something like that could cause a problem. Sorry I was vague up above lol I will call my endo like I said and see:) I would love to take a medication that would help with this, usually I have to tough it outh with nose sprays and tylenol. blah!

Up your vitamin C and use a neti pot or squeeze bottle to clear out your sinuses if you are congested. A solution of saline (use water & salt)  mixed with Xylitol used as a rinse in the neti pot will prevent further infection. The Xylitol acts as a natural barrier and the rotten little buggers can't get in. I've done this many times and it truly works. You may need to rinse the sinuses frequently the first few days but then they should remain clear and you can rinse 2x a day.  Use warm water or you'll end up wtih a sinus headache.
