Right with you, only 4 weeks out from surgery and I've already had one moment.  Didn't eat too fast, or too much but clearly my stomach wasn't ready and thar she blows!  Was at a friends house, was a bit embarrassing but at least there's no awful retching, it just slides on out *lol*.

It still happens to me every now and again.  Usually when it's been when I am too hungry, eat too eagerly, and some type of solid protein.    We went to a pig roast last summer, and I was very hungry.    I threw it all up in fifteen minutes.   I usually just kick the protein count ticker back to what it was pre-meal, and start all over again, LOL.

This happened to me once.  I was at Sonny's BBQ and it took 2 hours longer than we thought (we were traveling) with bad traffic, and I was already gnawing on my own arm.  I don't think I threw up, however I never felt so miserable in so long.

I am now 4 months out and haven't thrown up yet, but on a couple occassions I wish I could have - I have had a few meals where I eat too much, too fast (Thanksgiving was one of those occassions) and I feel so bloated and miserable - and end up going to the bathroom ALL NIGHT.  Seriously I counted pooping 8 times Thanksgiving night.  I know when I go more than 4x a day, I have done something bad.

6 years out, and thankfully few and far between, but I can still have it happen.  It's usually when my eyes and brain just tell my stomach it can handle a bit more....and the stomach declares "FAIL".

My other challenge (and again, to be clear, this doesn't happen often to me) is when I eat too fast.    This is why eating regularly and often is such a better choice overall.

No worries.  You are normal :)
