Congrats, Honeybadger! One milestone met and on to the next. I hit 299 just before surgery. I'm so looking forward to 199... haven't been there for 20 years! I will definitely celebrate that one! We're both on the right road! I'll be keeping in touch with your progress. Happy day!

Thanks dlapping! its good to see another Dr. Smith patient on the boards:) I think he is an A+ INCREDIBLE surgeon. To bad he cant get his nutrition up to par! I question Cheryl constantly about the nutritional advice! I know she was glad to see me go home:) hehe

Woo Hoo surgery sister.....I can't wait to see 299!! And to try and wrap my head around what Kirmy said about getting into the 100's just seems plain impossible at this point!! Here we go!!

Thanks Kristi! Yes ma'am we are doing it! And the fact that 1's are even possible blows my mind. I hoped to get to 250 with the lapband! That never happened but this...ah its great to have the DS.

A friend with RNY who has gained back all of her weight asked me the other day how i was doing. I told her pretty good. She asked me if i was throwing up a lot. I tried not to laugh and said nope with the DS its not usual that you throw up unless you eat to much (or in my 1 instance when i drank lactose) She said 5 years later she still has episodes! How awful! We really picked the best surgery out there!!!
