 Good luck to you - your date is right around the corner!    You seem intelligent and proactive.   Because your surgeon is not a well-known one around these parts, you might want to really make certain that you stick around here and follow the post-op nutritional advice of the vets.    Many newer DS surgeons notoriously under-supplement their DS'ers.   Follow Vitalady's plan and you should be in really great shape.
