Hi Gina and everyone,
Not much to report. Crappy day all around starting with a plastic piece loose from under my car making me late for work. Oh well, tomorrow will be the last of the week.

Gina, I emailed Dr. K with some more questions and he advises je****ching and waiting and continue to do what I'm doing, I did go out and get some papaya enzymes. I'm pretty depressed.

B: bacon, double protein shake
S: double protein shake
L: chilli
S: Adkins protein bar
D: spaghetti with dream fields spaghetti
S: ????

V: one batch left
F: on track
E: tracked the distance of the "walks" at work...a normal day is an extra 2 miles and a more active day is a total of 3 miles. Had to climb 8 flights of stairs due to a broken elevator this morning.

I don't want to discourage you at all, but papaya enzymes did absolutely nothing to help me. I know some swear by them, but for me it just wasn't so. This might sound even more discouraging, but the only thing that has helped me has been time. I *still* have issues, but they are far less these days. I would say I'm down to maybe having trouble every couple of weeks. There are things I just can't eat. Baked eggs in any form or fashion (including brok's pizza) is one of them.

I hope you get some relief soon. If you want to PM, feel free.

I appreciate your comment. I tried the enzymes and they didn't help. Thank goodness it only cost me $3.

Hello everyone.
Guess what I saw on the scale this morning? 179! Hurray - maybe I'm going to get under the 180s after all. Perhaps the silly hot pants and low carbing have gotten my fat burning engine going again.

BITES: (DS 10 months ago)
B - Starbucks SF peppermint mocha with half heavy cream, half water and 2 scoops chocolate protein powder.
L - Chicken & cheese casserole
S - Chicken caesar salad with croutons picked out
D - Probably shrimp & artichoke soup
S - Double protein shake with almond milk, babybel cheese
Around 50 net carbs, 190 protein, estimate around 800 calories absorbed.

VITES: on track
FLUIDS: 60 oz so far, not including shakes
EXERCITES: recumbant bike for 45 minutes.

Gail - sorry you are still having problems. I'm glad you won't be having surgery for Thanksgiving, but geesh, tell your vegus nerve to take a chill pill. Is there such a think as a muscle relaxant for it?

Ugh,....I think I picked a really bad day to drive into town. {sigh}  Gotta do it though. I hope to run into some old friends while I'm there...we'll see.
