Holy **** you look fantastic! You've obviously been fabulous of late. 

I can relive my past as if it is now.  I can remember what it felt like to walk any distances with all of the aches and pains and the sense of relief when I stopped to sit.  I can remember being overjoyed to be wheeled into theater then the terrible sadness after wards when I realised how terrified David was as I has complication after complication and the surgery stretched on wards.  I mostly remember the love and tenderness I got of all of you guys.  I still feel like I know so many of you folk as if we were family and yet we've never met..... Strange and wonderful how we find ourselves on here.  This is a precious and precarious place.  I'm glad I have found a wee perch here.

I got to this thread late, and as I was looking at your photos, I formulated in my head that I would post that you are as beautiful as the scenery.

BTW I got my surgery date in exactly 3 weeks' time - I'm going to Belgium (I've had too much trouble trying to get in touch with Mr Patel since the consult with him).

BTW I have bad pre-op nerves!! ;-)
