odd message

I got this oddly-worded message here on OH sometime today.

"Nice to meet you,
My name is Miss Rose, i will like to have a good relationship with you please write me with my ID ([email protected])
so that i will send you my photo and tell you about me"

Her profile says she is in New York, and her BMI is listed at 20. There is no photo, and no other information.

Am I right in thinking this is really odd, and that it might not be the best idea to reply, or am I being way too paranoid.

The more I look at it, the less I like it.

It's spam.  It happens from time to time, you should just ignore it.

Thanks. I would hate to ignore a real friend request, but this one was all wrong.

It's just spam. Report, delete, move on.

Responding to that kind of message is ALWAYS a bad idea, whether on this message system or any other one.

Yeah, report and delete.

I kind of miss the daughter of the Nigerian Prime Minister who was willing to give me a big cut of the $50,000,000 lbs Sterling
that her dear daddy had managed to steal and get out of the country. I could have used some of that cash!!!
