Went out with hubby last night and had fried chicken. WELL....the aftermath! NOT PRETTY! LOL. Nuff said there.
Wishing that my bloat weight would fall off since mother nature is done with me for this moon cycle. I'm really trying to get down to 150!
Outside of that my big news is that I got such a HUGE blessing today. Things in our house have been tough financially for awhile. I've been looking for work without success. I was really fretting what we were going to do about Thanksgiving since all the kids wanted to come over for dinner and bring friends or boyfriends. I had been able to get a 21 pound Butterball turkey for
$3 (thanks to a coupon and the "free" turkey from the grocery store. I was able to get the Butterball instead of the store brand) so I wasn't worried about the meat. Just the rest of the dinner because we barely have enough money to get through to next week. Anyway, today on my door showed up some stranger who said that he had a bunch of groceries to deliver. When I asked if he had the right house he said our name. I guess I was looking at him strangly when he explained one bag had ice cream in it and could he bring them in. I asked who the groceries were from and he said that they wanted to remain anonymous.
Wow....just wow.
And to fill up my day I made my own laundry detergent powder today too. Spent $6 on the products which made a large Classico spaghetti bottle full of detergent. You use one tablespoon for a small / medium load and two tablespoons for a large load. I figured that the price per load will be about $.02 per load over the course of using the products. The only thing I will have to buy more of is the Fel-Naptha (or Ivory soap, or other low suds soap) which is .97 at Walmart. It smells really nice and works surprisingly well. You can make this stuff into liquid laundry soap too, but really I don't have the storage space for that so I'll just use it like dry soap. Kinda cool, huh?
BITES:
Coffee with half and half throughout the day
Egg omlet with onions, cheese and sausage
3-4 ounces of pot roast meat, a couple of ziti pasta
6 celery sticks, 3 w/peanut butter, 3 w/cream cheese (1/2 of these were pretty small)
I'm thinking about having a bowl of popcorn with butter.
Vites:
Morning batch - Done
Iron - Done
Calcium - batches one and two done / batch three pending.
