Hi Gina and everyone,
I was so excited that I had no stomach issues last night, so I celebrated with popcorn, heavy on the butter. It was wonderful! Of course, I told myself that it was to help move the barium through my system.
My weight has been stable...the SAME.....for 2 months, but this week my slacks are needing safety pins again, I only have 3 pair for work.

B: bacon , double protein shake
S: double protein shake
L: potluck at work (panic!!!) : few bites of hame. 3 grapes, 2 cherry tomatoes, cheese, few bites of coconut pudding
S: almonds
D: cheeseburger on WW thin bun
S: ???

V: one batch left
F: more than enough
E: the same walking, walking, walking

Gina, update: my PCP's nurse called and read me the report ...."severe reflux". I called Dr. K's office and the CD arrived this morning. I'll wait to see what he says. I take both Nexium and Prilosec and the pain etc doesn't present as heartburn.

Gail - glad you had a better night.  You did really well when faced with the evil potluck.

I contend that Basement Cat created the concept of potluck lunches at work.

I think the only way to survive a potluck is to bring something that is"safe". Unfortunately I knew nothing about it, but it worked out. I just have a fear of getting sick while at work.

Good afternoon Gina.
Today started off well but went downhill quickly because it was the Office Thanksgiving lunch. The Force was too strong for me to resist all carbs & sweets.

BITES:
B: Meatloaf & melted swiss open faced sandwich on 1 slice of Julian bread (40 g. protein), tea with half and half.
L: 4 ounces of turkey with gravy, 2 bites of cheesy mashed potatos, bite cranberry sauce, maybe 1/4 cup of salad made with mayo, cheese, bacon, ham & peas. Sliver of regular raspberry swirl cheesecake and mini cinnamon roll bite. (51 protein, probably 65 carbs)
S: Double protein shake in Almond milk (49 g. protein)
D: French onion soup made using Julian bread, ceasar salad w/o croutons. (38 protein)
S: Fage (23 g.), hot tea with heavy cream
Estimating around 100 carbs, 100 protein. Could have been much worse but I really need to buckle back down on those dastardly carbs.

VITES: Iron, morning, lunch & afternoon batches done. Night batch & Proferrin pending.
EXERCITES: 2 10-minute walks around office, 30 min. housework

Yes ma'am.
Damn the potluck!  Someone else brought all those temptations.  I actually think that the craving for cinnamon rolls is now out of my system now since I've gorged on them for the past week or more due to PMS.    Let's hope so.

Tomorrow the plan is to stay at or below 50 net carbs, okay?  It is tough, though because I still can't eat 200 grams of protein yet and my double shakes use up 15 grams of carbs each.  With shooting for 200 grams of protein, I basically use of my daily allowance on shakes alone.
