IMR DENIED

This is so very terrible and sad, not only for your but for others dealing with the DMHC. For years it seemed a given that they overturned insurance companies in favor of the DS. What a horrible turn of events. I am so sorry.

Hi Gail- Of course it's me who has the DS hater. Actually, it's more about no mechanical failure of my band, from what they said on the phone. I'll see when the official denial actually arrives in the mail. Thanks for chiming in. I really appreciate you!

 
Don't give up.  I know it's difficult to think about fighting the big guys, but don't let them win. I fought for nearly 20 years!  I ended up having to self pay, but I am so grateful to be here post DS.   My life has changed in so many ways.  You have found a grate resource here.  USE IT!  The vets and such can help you.  I didn't find this forum until after my surgery, but feel so blessed to have found it at all.  I would most likely be in dire straights had I not discovered this board.  I would still be following the surgeons guidelines.
