Could you maybe keep a loaf of Julian bread in the freezer at work, then pull out a slice to thaw before lunch?  Then you could have a nice sandwich with everyone else.

Don't sweat a few chips - they are mostly fat.  I doubt that a bit of pumpkin pie was that bad either.

Given the stress level of being at a new job, I think you are doing great.

Was the peppermint mocha good? I'm meeting friends at Starbucks Saturday morning and may have to try it.

OH YEAH.  I really like them.  Unfortunately they aren't selling the peppermint SF syrups or I'd be making them at home myself all the time.

I went to SB to get the BYGO deal between 2 &5 yesterday and plan on doing it again today.
I also just found out you can ask for heavy cream in addition to 1/2 & 1/2/breve style so I may do that today to lower my carbs even more.  With the SF syrups and no whip, I figure that the breve only have about 10 carbs if I ask for heavy cream.
Then I'll take it, mix chocolate protein powder with warm water, and mix it all together.  With only about 16 g. carbs and 60 protein, it is a pretty awesome DS friendly treat!

ETA: obviously I was excited earlier because I kept using exclaimation points.  But it is a pretty yummo treat - just stay clear of the gingerbread at Starbucks. (440 calories and 74 grams of carbohydrates - yikes.)

I hope you have cream at work today. Cheers!
