You look awesome! I think it is very inspiring of you to open up and tell everyone just how much you've changed emotionally from this surgery. Sure, losing the weight is great but the health and emotional benefits are so much more life transforming (but maybe not so physically obvious.)  I think people should hear about that just as much as we hear about how great the weight loss is. You are an inspiration and I hope the newbies are paying attention.

I told my local Support Group that getting slimmer is a nice "side effect" of be physically, and emotionally healthy. It's the best gift I've ever given myself!

I had to jump through some major hoops, I believe, because of my bipolar. It has paid off BIG time!

Yes, Nicolle, horizontal!! LOL. I know, not the most flattering, but my mother LOVES this shirt on me and ask me to take my pic in it this month. She is well over 300lbs, only 5 foot tall and wears horizontal strips all the time. She Loves them. I got this one at good will for 2 bucks and she says I'm "cute" in it. Hell, never been "cute" in anything so of course that made my day.

Funny, the other day I was wearing this shirt and ran into K mart. This woman told her daughter, don't steal they'll put you in jail. They'll make you wear stripes and strips make you look fat. I look down at my shirt and think, ***** 2 reasons,1) obvious, I'm wearing stripes. 2) This little girl couldn't have been over 5 and this ***** is already talking to her about looking fat in stripes. So sad!! Of course the is my not so humble opinion.

Anywho, I'll quit blabbling now!
Thanks a bunch, Nicolle!
