Heartburn

 Today was the worst for heartburn, come on tums, kick in and do your thing.

Do you take a PPI?  Tums don't work for me.  Prilosec or something like it!!

Oh yeah, I had heartburn like that at night. Sometimes I'd nearly chug Maalox it hurt so bad. Now I'm on 1 over-the-counter Zantac 150 at bedtime and rarely have issues. I hope this is just a bump in the road on your journey.

If I take a tums as soon as I feel it come on (even if I am unsure), I can head it off usually with a couple 1000 tums,  otherwise, I am chugging the maalox bottle.  I ALWAYS have tums in my pocket along with my vitamins for the day. 

BUT, I take Prilosec every night before bed now and its become very infrequent.  Thank GOD!
