Exactly.  People can be so damn lazy.  Look at the board and search around.  If you can't find your answer, ask the question.  With the info readily at hand, you can't claim ignorance.

And newbies with a BRAIN with read the first few pages of this or ANY new forum and see which of their questions are already answered BEFORE they inflict themselves on the place.  IF you had read ANYTHING on this board, you would see that this information is spread out for anyone to see.

So let me get this straight - you join OH after committing to a specific surgery and surgeon, with a surgery date in about 3 weeks, and start doing the research you should have done before.  You find the DS board - and I'm guessing start thinking that maybe you've made a terrible mistake in choosing your surgery and your surgeon - and the first post you make on the DS board is to try to nanny the forum??

Did you take a psychology course in college and now you try to psychoanalyze people? That is SO adorable. All of the assumptions about terrible mistakes etc. are cute, but no go. Not trying to join your group dear, just browsing. When I see something wrong I speak on it. I don't care if the people I'm speaking about don't agree. I don't care if I'm coming in to your little virtual world that you think own and calling you on your sh*t and I sure don't care about your little threat about me having to sign up with a different name because you guys have good memories and good search "skillz." Those kinds of statements just go to prove what I originally said. And who gives a f*ck... it's a damn forum. THAT'S FUNNY. Who called who pathetic?

I'm confused about this word "humble" that you use. This post is what you call paying it forward? Intimidating new people looking for information and making people who ask questions feel dumb? Maybe you guys need to be humbled by the gift you have been given.

More evidence that you don't understand these surgeries sufficiently, but all the more reason that it is better that you get one that is within your skill set to handle.

It doesn't take a degree in psychology to figure you out - you aren't that complicated or sophisticated.  And after 9 years on this site, you are indeed a "type" I've seen many times before.

When you hit your first, second and then final and permanent stalls, followed by the inevitable weigh regain, I'm sure you'll remember this thread, however.
