 Go to the ER and get a CT scan with contrast!!!  If they are confused, tell them to look up DSfacts.com and see what your guts look like...

Great advice! And better yet, always keep a diagram. The ER doc I saw this morning was VERY grateful that I had a picture to show him of what my innards look like. I carry a card in my wallet all the time.

Thanks everybody!  I did call my Dr. (I was actually supposed to see him at 3:30)  They said a virus is going around and rescheduled me for next week.  (another non-DS issue.)

Called my surgeons office and they said to treat it as a bug right now, but if the pain gets worse I need to go to the ER.

I am dry heaving now.  Ugh.  Sharp pains right below diaphram, mid-belly (around belly button) and low back.    

GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM. 

Why are you taking chances ???

If this is a bowel obstruction,  every minute matters, in order to avoid bowel necrosis.

I have to say I agree wtih NYB.  If I were you, I'd go to the emergency room.  You have to rule out that it isn't a bowel obstruction.  Maybe it's not, and I hope it's not - but if it is you will be glad that you didn't waste any time.  

It's possible ot have an obstruction in your biliopancreatic limb and still have a bowel movement, btw.  

Get the diagram of your surgery and go, is my opinion.

Please go to the er! There is no reason to wait!
