I am puking, sweating and severe abdominal cramping.  Any ideas on what this is or what I should do?  I remember someone posted that if you have these symptoms, get to the emergency room because your bowel is twisted.  I just had a BM too.  Nothing unusual there.  Sorry to be so graphic!

You can and will get to deydrated and then be in REAL trouble,,

Well, you could also have the flu, too.  A call to the doc wouldn't hurt, though.

Doesn't always mean twisted bowel; however with that said do the following, in order....

Call surgeon's office and tell them where you are headed (name of ER)
Go to ER - educate idiots and then get CT with contrast
Call primary care doctor while waiting
Hopefully find out it's a virus, get good anti-nausea drugs and rehydrated. Go home and rest!

I hope everything is ok and you are on the mend soon!! Please keep us updated.

Hugs,
Ratkity

How are you doing now, Gracie? I was in the ER for the same thing this morning. Worst pain I have EVER experienced. It's always best to get a CT with contrast in these situations. Mine turned out to be food poisoning. I hope you're feeling better now!
