whats new with me
i am having a scope done on the 22nd. while they are in there they are going to attach some kind of sensor to find out the exact cause of my "heartburn". the dr thinks maybe it is bile reflux instead of acid reflux. i will be wearing something like a pager for 2 days for the sensor to transmit to. i am a little nervous. i also found out that my panniculectomy cause some pretty serious nerve damage and that is why i am having the pain, terrible swelling and constipation. my pcp has put me on lasix for the swelling and is sending me to a pain management specialist. i have been trying the powder form of miralax but i can only get about half of it down before i feel like i am going to vomit. i am going to check into the phillips capsules. my pcp put me on amitiza but the gi dr says it is too dangerous as it can cause lung damage and i am already a smoker. i wish things would start looking up but i dont see that happening any time soon.
