Sipping liquids...

Is this a forever thing or just during recovery from the surgery? How long are we talking about here?
I'm shopping for sippy cups, has anybody tried the Nalgene Grip N' Gulp? Other suggestions so I don't look like a pedophile gettings my liquids in every day with Disney sippy cups?

It doesn't last that long. lol  I use blender bottles or sports drink bottles, even now. 

I didn't have any special drink. I just would not drink from a sippy cup. But if it helps you, do it. I laughed at the idea of kids plate but honestly I do use my kids plates, but not utensils or cups.

I use a toddler sippy cup, it is just a plain but has been a lot of help getting my fluids and not gulpping which in turns make me sick.  I have also found after surgery I do better with really cold drinks or hot drinks. because I can not gulp them. before surgery I always liked my drinks at room temp no matter what it was

No hang ups here, WTF, I used the kid's sippy cups

The sipping is not a forever thing, but if you want a nice "grown up" looking sippy cup, I highly recommend the CamelBak Better Bottles. I have several I got from Target. I drink just about everything from them, as I find I can get more liquid down when I use a straw.

Ha ha, well in my home I don't mind drinking from kids' cups but it would be a bit unprofessional in my office....thanks for the suggestions
