 Surgery date 10-31-11
Still sore, well of course I am, it has only been 5 days.
Everything seems to be going right.
Havent had a #2 for over a week, but I am only on ISOPure, water, broth, SF Popsicles, Jello, so I 
      that is alright.
Here for the long haul
Been trying to get this done since Jan 11
Go to see surgeon Tuesday the 8th
Not much pain
HAPPY to be on the Dark Side

 another day on the dark side, everything is going well, had to take a couple of pain pill today, I think I drank too fast.

Welcome to the dark side!  Sounds like your intestines haven't come back to life yet. A week seems a long time not to poo but if you've talked with the surgeon's office and they're ok with it, rock on.

Being persistent pays off!  Congratulations and welcome to the dark side!  It sounds like you're doing very well for this early out -- now to just get the bowels moving.

The pain meds can have a constipating effect.  Milk of Magnesia should get you moving again, and if you can get off of the pain meds now, go ahead and do so.
