Sue- What does one have to do to meet you? What are the criteria one must complete before getting to be in your curmudgeonly presence? I would love to meet some of you guys IRL and have my picture taken with you and maybe get your autograph.Oh, by the way - Good luck with getting a picture of her. Every photo in which she *should* have been seen has ended up either completely pixelated or her image is mysteriously absent. It's the darndest thing.

Well, thank you. I'm somewhat out of excuses to go to Louisville right now...although I have a SIL downriver a bit from you, halfway to Evansville. She is, however, 5'7" and weighs about 125, so I'm not too anxious to stop for a visit.
(My MIL used to look at my fat self and say stuff like, "Have you seeeen my daughter? She couldn't weigh more than 120 pounds!!!" And I'd say something like, "Great...and how's she doin' on the GED thing?" That used to shut her up for a while. She had another one...our daughter and I flew to be with her when she was dx'd with cancer. We flew as far as we could--during our daughter's Christmas break from school at the last minute, the closest we could get was St. Louis--and then had to Greyhound it into Evansville. A cousin who was coming to get us asked how she would recognize us. MIL said, "Just look for the real pretty teenager with a fat Mexican woman." And she laughed. And MIL told the story again and laughed more. And then she tried it with even more friends and neighbors in the room and I said, "That was so smart of you! I mean what ELSE could you have said...'Look for the only college graduate in the family,' I mean...that wouldn't have helped, would it?" She died without repeating that story in front of me again.)
Anyway, we prefer to avoid TSA and airports...so it's RV time of life for us. This last trip was under 300 miles so that was doable in an RV. Before we go on any longer trips, we will need a new RV. The bed in this one bothers his back. So we have to sell this and get something configured differently.
