Lipid panel difference in just 2 months!!

Cholesterol: THEN-161 // NOW-98 (rage 140-199) Should be under 200 mg/dL

Triglyceride: THEN-154 // NOW-126 (range 0-149) Should be less than 150 mg/dL

HDL: THEN-46 // NOW-32 (range >=41) Should be less than 40 mg/dL

LDL: THEN-84 // NOW-41 Should be under 100 mg/dL

VLDL: THEN-31 // NOW-25 (range 0-30)

Chol/HDL Risk Ratio: THEN-3.5 // NOW-3.6 (range 0.00-5.00) Should be 3.5:1
(Idk how that got higher?)

 You got all of them right except for the HDL it is suppose to be 41 or higher not less then. So your HDL is a bit low.  

HDL = healthy or good cholesterol

 Exercise and losing weight is suppose to raise the HDL.

GREAT. I talked my pcp into letting me get off of Lipitor and Tricor the week after surgery. He wants the lipid panel in 2 months and I am hoping for good results.  I came home off of all of my diabetes meds and all that I am taking now are the new meds for my stomach that the surgeon put me on + my blood pressure meds......hope to be off of everything in juit a few months!
