OT---Social Security Raise...what should I do with all this money?

I'll get that big raise also and expect it to go toward the increase in Medicare. However I have a few months relief, I don't go on Medicare until next September. Maybe I will stock up on BACON!

 Its so funny you write this bc I work for SS and we got the email from the commissioner that the COLA was going up for the first time since 2009. So my coworkers and I were like ok thats good bc I don't know how people survive off it now bc they get so little. So then we pull up the calculator and I said wait they are only getting about $30 more dollar. OK not a lot but still more than what they get now. Then we get another email saying well they really won't see the increase bc their premiums are going up. I said omg that is about as worse as us getting our raise for about 4 paychecks and then the union and state decide they need to save money so they take our raises away and now we have to pay them back what they paid us. I swear people who deserve things never get them.
