I can't remember and don't have time right now to look it up - did we go through the "we've never heard of your surgeon - are you SURE he is qualified to do a DS" routine yet?

Because I haven't heard of him, and neither has Sandy, and we're long-time vets. Personally, I would not be a guinea pig for someone with fewer than 100 SUCCESSFUL DSs under their belt. The learning curve is VERY steep.

And who did he proctor with?

I Agree! There is only one vetted DS surgeon in Indiana (as far as I know) and that is Dr. Margaret Inman. Watch out for the bait and switch, it he says that he may end up having to do a RNY on you depending on what he finds RUN!! Indianapolis is not that far from you............

Congratulations. I am not trying to bring you down, but on Dr. Cooper's profile, a patient says he is Coopers' first DS, and that was dated in July of 2010. Do you know how many DS' he has done since that time?
