Dr. Roslin's patients or other revision patients
Toya,
Because I had a Lapband there were so many f/u visits so there was so much paperwork. But I had an endoscopy before I went to see Roslin and then the day of my appointment with him... he rushed me over the Lennox Hill to get an upper GI... so those things will probably have to happen within the process.... But I think that you are ok with the info that you have... if it is not ok then he will let you know... He is not going to cancel the appointment because of follow-up notes.... Best of luck!!!

I had revision w Dr Roslin all he needed was old operative report and upper GI series / endoscopy report to get the ball rolling. good luck. f/ u appt progress notes are nice but I think they r bonuses just would have liked to have them in case there were any complications post op that wasnt captured btwn the op report and imaging.
Well Katie from Dr. Roslin's office called and said hey what can you do if they don't have the records. By law they were supposed to keep them for 7 years but she said the op note was most important so I am good to go with that and then about 4 this afternoon I get a call, "oh we found your records after all. Do you want us to fax them to the new surgeon." I said no ty, I will be at the office tomorrow to pick them up. I wissh I had thought about getting the Upper GI beforehand but oh well I will see what Dr. Roslin says next week.
Thanks again ladies, You have been so helpful.

I didn't have my previous surgeon's records as they'd have been 25 years old. My surgeon scoped down there tho to see the situation and he had encountered quite a few of Dr Fobi's verticle banded gastroplasties in his revision experiences so he was familiar with the arrangement. So I am thinking perhaps it is still doable for you also-?? I find it's better not to panic unless absolutelty necessary myself.
