During the first few months the weight loss is very dramatic, like magic.

Glad to see that I am doing similar to another recent DS patient. I had my DS on 09/30/11. I started the pre-op diet 5 days before that.  Anyway, I just got home from Mexicali (where I had my surgery done) this morning. Hopped on the scale... guess what? Down exactly 20.5 lbs from when I left home on 09/22 to travel to Mexico. Yay! For both of us!

I'll try to post more about my recent DS after I get settled here at home and unpacked from the trip. Would love to compare notes these next few weeks. Feel free to get in touch with me.
