Congratulations!!!  I had my surgery with Dr. E back in March at Fairfax Hospital.  I've been there so many times, I knew what to expect.  There's construction going on at the hospital, so be prepared!  As Gina said, the rooms ARE "cozy" - a bit small.  I've never had a private room there.  Always interesting roommates, though!!!  lol!!  Don't get mad if you don't see Dr. Elariny after your surgery.  I didn't.  His fellow came in once, and the rest of the time, like Gina, I saw lots of interns and residents.  You do have to advocate for yourself and keep up on what's going on.  I was there for 4 days, no problems.
